Making Custom Shirts Without Transfer Paper

If you are interested in creating your own fashion but don’t want to spend money on the typical equipment for T-shirt printing, then you may want to learn how to print shirts using only household and DIY items. In this video, you will learn how to make a custom shirt without using transfer paper and without any kind of fancy machine. In order to do this, you will need a shirt, the images you want to transfer, an iron, parchment paper that is typically used in backing, cling film, and scissors.

To begin, print the images you want to use onto regular paper. The video will first show you the wrong way to do this so that you know what not to do.

Next, it will give you the actual steps. Wrap the image with a layer of cling wrap. Make sure it is completely covered and cut off the excess. Now put the image onto the shirt, cover it with parchment paper, and then iron over everything. Be aware that the parchment paper will burn but the image will be okay. Let it cool and then remove the parchment paper slowly. When you have your final result, do not wash the shirt in the washing machine.
